By accessing or using The Clinical Index ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

The Clinical Index provides AI-powered clinical verification services for dietary supplements. Our Service analyzes supplement labels, searches peer-reviewed literature, and generates verification dossiers based on available clinical evidence.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscription and Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed according to your selected plan:

  • Setup fees are non-refundable and due at subscription start
  • Monthly fees are billed in advance
  • You may cancel at any time; no refunds for partial periods
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice

5. Verification Badges — Suspended

Verification badges and the public product directory are suspended as of 29 July 2026. Badge endpoints and the public directory are disabled and return no result. No badge, seal, score, grade, or directory listing is being issued, served, or renewed, and no representation of verification status is available for public display. Nothing in these terms should be read as a current entitlement to a badge or a directory listing.

Any future badge or directory programme will be governed by terms published before it becomes available. Existing accounts are not charged for badge or directory access during the suspension.

6. Disclaimer

Our verification service is based on publicly available clinical literature and AI analysis. It does not constitute medical advice, FDA approval, or regulatory compliance certification. Users are responsible for ensuring their products and claims comply with applicable laws and regulations. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Clinical Index shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by The Clinical Index and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without express written permission.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
